Theatre visits are always very popular with our group.
Our theatre trips are mainly to the Lyric Theatre, Belfast as our group gets a special community rate.
Our next trip to the Lyric is to see:
Waking Ned Devine.
Based on the beloved film written and directed by Kirk Jones, this new musical tells the story of Ned Devine, who has won a fortune on the lottery, and his fellow residents in a small Irish village are eager to find ways to share in his newfound wealth. However, there’s a major challenge that Ned’s friends and neighbours must face that sets off a wonderfully funny and life-affirming story about friendship, community and what’s more valuable than riches.
Recently we have attended performances of,
- The Agreement (Lyric)
- A Gap Year (Lyric)
- Little Women (Lyric),
- A Christmas Carol (Lyric),
- Consumed (Lyric),
- The Importance of Being Earnest (Lyric)
- Mrs Warren's Profession (NCC)
- Hamlet (NCC)
- Faith Healer (Lyric)
We are going to see "Cats" at the Grand Opera House in March. This was booked in advance because of the popularity of this event.
