Theatre visits are always very popular with our group.

Our theatre trips are mainly to the Lyric Theatre, Belfast as our group gets a special community rate.

Recently we have attended performances of Romeo and Juliet, The Agreement, Little Women, A Christmas Carol, Consumed, and The Importance of Being Earnest.

Our next trip is to see 'Faith Healer', written by Brian Friel and staring well known local actor, Conleth Hill. Hailed by the Guardian as one of the greatest plays of the twentieth century, this acclaimed production is part of the Belfast International Arts Festival.

A coach is provided from Newcastle leaving from outside Lidl (6pm sharp). It stops off at the Today shop in Dundrum (6.10pm) and the bus stop in Clough (6.15pm).
