Membership is open to anyone who is retired or no longer in full time employment.
Membership includes :
Monthly meetings with invited speakers
Access to all interest groups and outings
A copy of the U3A magazine 'Third Age Matters' in February, April, June, September and November.

Fill in your details and bring the form and your fee to our next monthly meeting.
Hand your form to any Committee member.
Membership forms are also available at the monthly meeting.
Membership Fee
Individual membership of Shimna u3a is currently £15.00 per year
The membership year runs from 1st April to 31st March
Please arrange to pay your subscription fee in April of each year
A reduced fee is available for new members joining later in the year.
A reduced fee is not available to anyone who was a member in 2025/26.
Associate Membership
Associate Membership is currently £8.00 per year
Associate Membership is only is available to those who already have full membership of another u3a
To apply for Associate Membership you will need to provide evidence of the u3a of which you are currently a full member
Payment Methods
You can pay your membership fee by bank transfer, cheque or cash.
Please email the Treasurer if you wish to post your payment.
Ensure that your full name is included if paying by post.
Cheques should be made payable to Shimna u3a.
If you are paying by cheque or cash please put your payment in an envelope with your name and payment amount written on the envelope.
You can bring your payment to the monthly meeting or give the payment to a committee member.
