Shimna u3a is based in Newcastle, County Down, at the foot of the Mourne Mountains. The group was formed on 23rd February 2011 with 24 members. We now have over 140 members from Newcastle and the surrounding area.
We meet at 2.00pm on the third Tuesday of each month at Newcastle Community Cinema.
Visitors are most welcome to join us for our monthly talks
As well the monthly meetings we also have interest groups which meet on a weekly, monthly or occasional basis. These include walking, theatre, bridge and the book group. For details of all group activities see the groups page.
